Hi there!

I'm the proud Founder of the Local Relief App and the Executive Director of Local Relief, Inc. My journey in shaping how we communicate during disasters began with a deep-rooted passion, ignited by my 20 years living in Florida. Witnessing firsthand the devastation wrought by Hurricane Ian in 2022, I knew it was time to bring my 2017 idea of the Local Relief app to life, transitioning it into a nonprofit to ensure trust and reliability in times of need.

My entrepreneurial spirit first took flight with "I Train Your Kids," a venture dedicated to teaching children the importance of a healthy lifestyle. This experience opened doors to another passion of mine – storytelling. Founding Be Me Books, I ventured into the world of authorship, weaving tales that inspire and educate.

Before all this, I wore many hats – as a teacher, a corporate trainer, and even a sporting event manager. Each role taught me something unique, from the art of communication to the power of resilience.

At my core, I'm a visionary on a mission. My aim is to make a tangible difference in the world, especially in how we respond to and communicate during disasters. It's about creating a community that stands strong together, a community where everyone has access to the help and support they need, when they need it.
